Industrial Nets
ScanCord offer a wide range of nets, custom made to fit your specifications or in in standard sizes. All of our nets meet or exceed European netting standards. Our products can be used for a range of applications, including covering and securing loads or pallets, containing garbage in a specific area, protecting buildings from birds, and even supporting climbing plants.
Our product range includes heavy duty cargo nets, skip covering nets, air-permeable and air-impermeable sheets as well as safety nets for various purposes to keep everyone safe. We have a wide inventory of accessories to complement our nets, including cable ties, tension locks, steel cable and split rings. Few products have the versatility of nets, which can be used in the work place time after time again and can meet all the needs of an industry to keep both people and products safe and unharmed. At the same time few materials meet the diverse requirements of the industrial sector with as much versatility than or as cost-effectively as net.
Covering and loading-securing nets/sheets
We offer skip covering nets as well as cover nets for trailers either in standard sizes, suitable to industry standard containers or trailers, but also in custom sizes to suit your specific application.
Pallet Rack Safety Nets
Pallet rack safety nets protect people and inventory from fall accidents, yet it is an inexpensive, fast way to make your warehouse safer by reducing the chances something will fall on a worker in the aisles below loaded pallet racks.
Rack safety netting can be fitted to an entire row of racks, a partial row, or just a single bay to defend against falling items.
Cargo Nets
Our reliably heavy duty and long lasting cargo nets are used by cranes to load and unload ships, freight trains, trailers or warehouses. Our Cargo Nets are knotless which allows for a more uniform design, less load shifting and less abrasion. Cargo Nets, also called Hoist Nets or Slung Nets for helicopters, come with rubber protected loops incorporated into the nylon perimeter rope. Nets are ready for immediate use and do not require addition equipment.
Debris Containment Netting
Debris Containment Nets allow the world to be a cleaner place! They prevent small debris such as paper from falling out of the specified area and are strong enough so that heavy materials will not penetrate the nets. In addition, land owners will not have to continually pick up the area surrounding dumping grounds. Cost effective, portable and durable, it is a practical solution to keeping surrounding areas cleaner.
Air-permeable and air-impermeable sheets
Tarpaulins and sheets can be used as protection against wind and storm, dirt and dust. Our recyclable and UV-stabilized sheets and tarpaulins can be used as view obstruction screen, as pond or pool covering nets, as sand pit cover or as sun sails.
Wire-rope nets / Steel nets
Dralo is a universal steel wire net, suitable for a wide variety of applications. For example, it can be used to protect architectural monuments, buildings and public parks, link indoor railings or support climbing plants. It can be used practically everywhere.
The Powernet is a steel wire net with a screw-connected design and is therefore extremely strong and durable. It fits best for conditions subject to extreme stress such as blasting operations or protection against falling rocks and loosened tree-trunks, etc.
Industrial Ropes
ScanCord offers polyester and polypropylene ropes that are long lasting for safety and aesthetically pleasing for achieving a nautical or rustic look. They can be used for a range of purposes including tie-downs, blocks and pulleys.
Ski-slope nets and snow fencing
ScanCord offers different types of snow fences, snow barrier nets and ski-slope safety nets.
Ski slope safety net requirements have been regulated by the FIS, which has insisted on a maximum mesh size. In addition, the net should catch a skier travelling into it at a certain speed. However, there have been no suitable methods for testing this and there is still no European standard. This gap has led to the French developing national standard NF S 52-106 "Production of Nets for Safety Purposes". We are happy to say that we are able to supply appropriately certified products.
Light net
A unique opportunity to capture light or set an architectural tone. It can be stretched, draped over sculptures or exhibits and used as a curtain. In fact, its versatility is only limited by the ideas of the designer.
The light net is a knitted net into which polymeric optical fibers are woven during the production process. As a result of this special technique, the net can be stretched into almost any size or shape and used to create individual designs.
Netting installation
We have over 25 years of experience in installing nets for various purposes, and are happy to assist our client with the assembly and disassembly of their netting systems. External factors such as weather affect the nets in different manners. Therefore it is important to use the correct type of net for each specific application and install it correctly to ensure that it last as long as possible with maintained function.
